Luc prøver å vinne tilbake ekskjæresten, men anklages for å ha stjålet kokain fra en luguber narkolanger. Mørbanket ender han med hodet fastlåst i en urinal på et tvilsomt utested. Til tross for denne vemmelige og klaustrofobiske situasjonen går alt fra ille til verre. I en stadig nedadgående skitten spiral utsettes Luc for piss, tamponger og rotteangrep. På toppen av det hele har dessuten hans datter bursdag. Flush tar one location-filmen til et forbløffende nytt ubehagelig nivå og aldri tidligere har kombinasjonen fransk absurditet og surrealisme blitt bedre skildret på film. KK
------------------ Luc is trying to win back his ex-girlfriend, but gets accused of stealing cocaine from a shady drug dealer. Beaten up, he ends up with his head stuck in a urinal at a seedy nightclub. Despite this nasty and claustrophobic situation, things only go from bad to worse. In a steadily descending filthy spiral, Luc is subjected to piss, tampons, and rat attacks. To top it all off, it also happens to be his daughter’s birthday. Flush takes the single-location film to a startlingly new and deeply uncomfortable level, and never before has the combination of French absurdity and surrealism been portrayed better on screen. KK
